Lightroom Problem with new Canon 50D

First, I don't know if this post should be in this section or to Camera EOS section but I posted it here because the problem looks like in the Lightroom.

I bought a new Canon 50D, downloaded the EOS digital solution disc included in the package and also downloaded the new version of Lightroom which is 2.4. I shot an event today using both my 50D and 40D(yes I own both but not a pro, its purely a hobby) but my images from 50D does not download. What could be the problem? Please help what to do.

When you say "the 50D does not download", what exactly are you doing, and what exactly happens? Are you saying the 50D files can't be downloaded from the card? What software are you using to try the download?

Download the images using a card reader, then import them into lightroom. If you have problems you need to be a lot more concise about the problem if you want help solving it.
