1d mark II, SN: 244419, 44000 actuations, is this a relatively late serial number? googled it but cant find much info on it, experts please help!

According to this http://www.sportsshoot​er.com …ge_display.html​?tid=24403 (external link) there should be some kind of date code on the camera, similar to the codes on some EOS lenses.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Remove the battery, It is inside the battery compartment at the back you will see the date code.
