thanks. I need to get up to San Fransisco and spend about a week shooting at night. haha. I really want to do that soon.

Dave, I believe I work with your buddy Scott. He was showing me your photos the other day. Nice stuff! What settings did you use on these shots? Only reason I ask, they look a little soft to me. Not sure if that was on purpose or not.

the clouds are fuzzy and water look all smoothed out (if that is what you are talking about?) because its a 30second exposure.

I probably should have used my 50D and my "bulb" instead of the T1i and the timer with mirror lockup. haha.

Nah, the clouds and water look normal for a long exposure, I was mainly referring to the detail in the buildings and such. Could be because you used a wide-angle lens. Try going back down there with a longer lens and do a panoramic stitch and you'll be amazed.

What aperture and ISO settings were you using?
