I was going to go surfing on Saturday but knowing that the surf might not be great I packed my camera. Sure enough the surf looked dismal and went shooting.

I came across this patch of flowers w/bees and started shooting. A little cropping, a touch of contrast, some sharpening, and then to JPEG.

I usually don't shoot insects/birds but any feedback would be appreciated.

So much colour there, nice shot. Every time I see a cool looking insect I think dang, I really need a macro lens. Plus I really want to shoot spiders, lichens and mosses too.
