The ROSS Performance Summer School
runs each year in August, in Scarborough, England. Each year there are three performance classes and over the course of a week the (adult) students put on a forty-minute extract from a stage musical.
As if that's not hard enough, the shows are double-cast. That means that at the end of the week there are two performances - afternoon and evening. And as far as is possible, the school tries to arrange things so that if you are a princiapl in the afternoon show, you'll be in the chorus in the evening - effectively learning two complete parts!
This year, the three shows were Die Fledermaus, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and La Cage Aux Folles.
