I got a finger print on a new Canon lens two days, but am cleaning it today. Is that anything to worry about? I'm getting UV filters so this doesn't happen again.

If you do use a lens hood (the one Canon recommends for your lens), you'll never get a fingerprint on the lens again. Skip Douglas
