I am very new to portraits and would love some feed back on making these better.

First two are way too high key for me (lots of blown areas), third one the lighting isn't very good, just looks like direct pop-up flash.

My .02

#1. I agree is too high key; however I like the composition.
#2. I like the lighting except I would like to see more seperation between the right side of her face and the BG. Looks tooo candid.
#3. I dont like the compsition or lighting.
#4. Is nice all around. I would however like to see less arms and be caareful on blowing out your whites.

chef21, I agree with pp, the first 2 are a bit blown. But, they didn't look like they were on IE.
