Have a Sigma 2x extender.

Also have a Canon 70-200 2.8 (non-IS).

Sigma extender fits the Canon (though my Canon 1.4 doesn't fit my Sigma 70-200 2.8

Any reasons not to use the Sigma on the Canon? (other than normal IQ issues and will lose 2 f-stops). Should it work properly?

Would appreciate hearing from folks that have walked this path before me.

Thanks!

You say you have them both? Why not try it out and see how you like it and if it works for you?
