spider1135 Member 121 posts Joined Feb 2008 More info | some of the canon lens increased over $100. 3 canon lens I am going to buy, canon 50mm 1.4 and canon 85mm 1.8 both increased over $80, canon 200mm 2.8 L lens go up from $589 to $869. I am not buying them now, I am sure the prices may come down, it is like the seasonal.

That may have a little to do with it with respect to US pricing. They are getting killed by their own strong currency. These lenses are all made in Japan.
