Should that not be QANTAS?
Hehehe Isn't that un unwritten rule of all online forums? The person that corrects someone with grammar or spelling will themselves make an error in the correction?

DaleP, Sorry to break your unwritten rule, but it hasn't been QANTAS for many decades. This is the correct way as I said first of all. See the bottom of this pic......
Yep, they were all taken with the 70-200. ![]() 7D 80D, Canon 70-200 f/4L , 50mm f1.8 , Sigma 17-70 , Sigma 150-600, Samyang 8mm Fisheye , EF 40mm f/2.8 Pancake

I love those planes, would love to fly them one day. By the time i'm there though, they'll all be replaced with the gumby looking 787's... "Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. Nah, I don't mind it but it's just annoying not to be on the mighty GE-90'ed 777-300ER. Don't count on the 787's :P . But they will be nice too. My Website

Yep, they were all taken with the 70-200. ![]() It is still an acronym, so all capitals is still the correct use (which I notice is still used at the top of the QANTAS website, which you trimmed off). Just because the IT/marketing/stationary guys ignore correct use is of little consequence. Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.

I think you have it the wrong way around. The big banner at the top of the website is marketing. The name at the bottom is the official company name. It is NOT an acronym. It used to be, but as I said it hasn't stood for Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services for many decades. The name was officially changed to Qantas in 1967. This is from the history section on their website.
