Help me pick a replacement body for my dead 5Dii:

camera was on a tripod so a bag is out. Plus I wasn't expecting to get hit. If I were, I wouldn't have taken the 5Dii into that situation. If I were I'd be able to protect it. Because it was unexpected, NO planning ahead would work. So a sealed body is the only answer beyond being more careful to avoid any chances.

A D-series body will not survive salt water. Nor will lens.

You need a waterproof enclosure if you're going to be going in the foam.
