Would like to compare notes.
I'm using a 5D, one MiniTT1, one FlexTT5. 580EXII flashes.
My main concern is the inconsistent firing of the remote. While the remote stays awake OK, the red light being on, it acts like it was asleep and won't fire the first time after a short pause.
Also in shooting it just won't fire occasionally, as if it had not recharged but that's not the problem. My pair do the cheap Chinese trick of firing as I bring them together ~ no harm in that I think, just annoying.
Anyone else think the ETTL is not as accurate as directly on the camera? My mains flash has had to be under as much as 2/13rd stops in some cases. Just an observation for the moment.
Distance in broad daylight, about 40M.
No firing of the remote if I place a PWPlusII in the mix attached to a Nikon SB flash in this particular case. I need to experiment more with this one, but the main issue is the remote will not respond thereafter until it is switched off and back on again. There may be a clue here that I don't understand.
