Here is a model we had last night for my 2nd photography class. We were out by a pond, and we discussed shutter speed. Most of the pics were taken with the model spinning around, or jumping and running, so we could freeze the action with our camera. I like the still shots better..lol
Critique is always welcomed, since I have lots to learn still!
Thanks

How can you freeze the action "without camera"? Did you mean flash?

All that and no comments on the photos.

Well, I'm no expert, but I like number 1. I like the desaturation and the vingnetting and the way it pulls your eyes to the model. Number 2 is too saturated for my liking, but I think it works if that is what you were after. I DO like a lot of pop, but it is more than I would have done.

Overall, good captures. JMHO.

I like one, but agree with Duff 2 is way tooo saturated. Try to actually lower sat and bumb up vibrance. See if that will give you anything you like.

I like both picutes. I like the expression on her face in the first one and I like the setting of the second.

haha.. that is sooo true! You really do have to get all that out of your system! I still over process sometimes, but I learned how to boost colors other than the sat real quick!
