Why don't they throw in the lens cleaning kit too? That's the deal breaker for me. No free lens kit = NO SALE

I thought everyone had one. I kind of feel bad about knocking the glass out of mine and using it for an umbrella stand. Oh well.

You would need a new bag, and you know what trouble it is to pick out a bag. Just not worth the trouble.

This is actually the second time BH had a used 1200 for sale. Back when people used to buy magazines with real journalism in them companies would spring for things like this lens for shuttle launches and.... well for shuttle launches.

I would need an armored car to feel safe transporting this around.

Yep, there's no need in in this type lens when many magazines are basically just printing fancy toilet paper anyway.

Math? We say Maths' in the Uk, or is it just me?

Anyway, Can I borrow it for 3minutes 54 seconds please?

I do hope that bird stays around for the next 27 years, 8 months, 3 weeks and one day, until it's my turn to borrow it again - then I guess I'll have had to upgrade many times more.

Yeah, you Brits have it backwards. The proper term is "math" (not "maths"), and "sports" (not "sport"), plus you add an extra syllable to the word "aluminum" (not "aluminium"), and you misspell the word "tire" (not "tyre"), et cetera.

I could go on all day. Get with the program. :p

LOL, that lens is more of a collector's item for the wealthy than a lens.
