Do you have a shot showing the boat's name on that last shot? If so is it "My Way"?

My Way is actually the boat in the first photo ;) Thing is incredible!
That orange boat was the only other boat that had jet engines but didn't know the route so was never driving fast like My Way does (he lives in the 1000 Islands so he knows the place like the back of his hand...cheater :p).

Thanks, I,ve met him & watched part of the Poker Run from his "cottage" a few years ago. He's a friend of a friend. He lives close to where I do, but I hadn't seen the boat in the new paint scheme & missed the exhausts in that first photo. When he bought that boat it had BB Chevs but they kept blowing up (can't figure out why) so he finally converted it to gas turbines.

He's actually in a new boat now...not just paint scheme. His old boat was orange/yellow and his new boat is silver/red. And his property is gigantic, as well as his yacht.

I know about the size of the property & why (Parks Canada had restrictions on what he could build relative to land size if I remember right) but I didn't know he had replaced the old boat. The one before that one was stolen after another Poker Run. Boat, trailor & tow vehicle were all missing when they woke up. Years ago he wanted the Province to build an off ramp along the 401 (our main east / west 4 lane highway along that area) for him to get to his cottage more quickly. When they declined he offered to build it at his expense. (this is from the friend & I think it's believable because I've heard it elsewhere.) The Province said NO.

Those boats are cool, and so is your white balance.

I believe I had it set to sunny. Should I have just used Auto WB?
At times, there was cloud cover and I don't think I changed it when the clouds rolled in

Auto would probably been better with changing conditions or shoot RAW and fix in computer. I gave a quick try with DPP but on jpg it's difficult to fix.

That's what I wanted them to come out like but I'm not an expert in PS yet so I couldn't get that blue tint out of the pictures without completely ruining them..

Nice pics. I live on the Canadian side near the 1000 Islands Bridge.

Is My Way the one that is docked just downstream of the Canadian span of the 1000 Island Bridge? I fish that area quite a bit between there and Rockport.

^Most likely. His cottage has its own private dock...he has a huge yacht. But yes, he lives just in Canada right passed the bridge.
