Hello all. I bought a Phottix wireless remote for my 40d after reading all the posts on here about them. Problem is I think I may have gotten the wrong one. The one that I have has no cable at all (and doesn't even look the same as the one shown), so the only way it can mount to the camera is on the hot shoe. Apparently, I should have the C8 model which is the one that's listed on ebay (and the one I supposedly should have). Do I have to buy this cable separately or should I just get rid of this one and go with a different seller? This is the model I have: http://www.pbase.com/ngannet/image/116621394 (external link) The thing on the lower right is just a cute little strap that serves no mechanical purpose. Thanks.

It looks like they forgot the cable. Just ask them to send you a C8 cable.

Looks like you got the wrong product. The receiver, transmitter, cable and batteries all come in a sealled plastic container. They do have a reliable customer service though - call them.

Look and read the above picture carefully, it says "Optional Cable" for various cameras. So you need to get the cable if it's not included. Call them.
