hello!

i don't know whats the matter, but when i try to play avi files from my ixus V on my pc (wmedia player v9) a message appears: "sending request for codec", but then i only get sound. I downloaded several divx codecs (3, 4, 5) but it still doesn't work.
Do you know what's the appropiate codec?
Any other player that works?

Thanks

They're AVIs with M-JPEG encoding. If you don't have a M-JPEG codec for Media Player then try using the Apple Quicktime player.

Cheers

Yep, as said above, it uses basically an MPEG 4 compression.
If you're using Windows Media Player, go to the HELP menu, and CHECK FOR UPDATES.

That'll update you to 7.1, and that codec will be included within there.

Mitch.
