Hi all! I got up early this morning with intention to do more testing with the Singh Ray Gold-N-Blue filter. Once I got to my location, I realized I forgot the filter! Sori to disappoint everyone. Maybe next time. :)

While driving to this spot, it started to rain. I was like "bummer!" Anyways, I got here and waited for the light to change. The clouds were starting to break and the morning rewarded me with some nice light! Enjoy! :) C&C appreciated! Thanks!

Gear used:
Canon 1Ds MK III
Canon 16-35 II

Filters used:
Singh Ray 3 stop Reverse GND
Lee 4X4 CPL

EXIF:
16-35 II @ 21mm
f/stop @ f/16
ISO 100
Exposure 1.6 seconds

Julian !! Forgot the filter ????? !!!!!!! wow, I just got mine yesterday, cant wait to take it to the beach or somewhere too,, nice shot here though, tell me what you think about Singh Ray's GND filters, they are so much more money than alot of other GND's, are they worth the price difference ? I have a few GND's and they are a fraction of the cost

Good shot, Julian. You aren't old enough to be absent minded.

Cool shot. I really like the colours you've captured in this shot, Julian!

Yes! I forgot the filter. I was looking through my bag at the time and I than it dawned on me I left it on the night stand in my spare bedroom. I went out today and I didn't forget this time. :)

As far as Singh Ray GNDs, they are expensive. I love the product they sell and it's high quality. I won't persuade you into purchasing them but, you can get the same effect with Hitech and Lee filters. The Hitech come in 4x5 and the Lee/Singh Ray come in 4x6. I like the extra length with the Lee/Singh Ray.

Thanks Craig. The thing I was really worried about was making sure I captured some detail in the tree line. I did this before and it didn't work out. This time it did! :)

I took the Blue/gold polarizer out to the lake for a sunset last night, had alot of fun with it for sure, I find that I hand hold the GND when using a polarizer so the bigger of the two is better for me there, I just bought a new computer the other day and had to reorder photoshop so I cant even process my RAW images till the software gets here,, oh well,, looking forward to seeing what you come up with with yours Julian !!

Congrats on the new purchase Jim. Be sure to post your results. I'm still gonna mess around with it more when I get the chance. :)

I feel some might not like the color version. So, I converted it to b&w. Your comments are always welcome. Thanks! :)
