Here are a few more pics I took while visiting Northern Michigan. Let me know what I can do to improve as I'm new to this. Thanks.

In the first shot the horizon seems to be tilting down to the left.
In the last picture the horse drawn carriage seems to be too close - the feet are slightly cut off. The first picture also seems to have a slight blue cast?

Same as above. The second one seems a bit out of focus. I like #3, although the brown in the waterfall sort of takes a little away.

all pretty good shots. but, here are minor suggestions i would make. take them with a grain of salt.

1.. i would like to see you move to the right more and include only one bench. and, remove most of that tree that is not so much "framing" the shot, but just taking up space. it may not have been possible, i wasnt there obviously. but, i would like to see the bridge dominate instead of look like it was the background.

2.. like the composition, but looks soft to me. the eye isnt crisp. looks like the rocks about a foot in front of the bird are the sharp spot here.

3.. good shot, but i would prefer an even wider angle, if possible. however, i doubt it was or you would have probably done so.

4.. not bad. but, you clipped the hooves. i prefer to see the space a moving object is "moving into" as the dead space of a pic. in other words, give more foreground space so it looks like the horses are coming towards us instead of getting ready to walk off the end of the earth. if your subject was the driver, i would have cropped super tight here.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

Thank you so much for the critiques. I will take the tips and work to improve on my next outing. I love this site for the ability to get honest and helpful critiques from people who know what they are talking about.
