This was my first practice photoshoot I did of someone else other than my daughter. I'm hoping to do some more practice shoots in the near future. Any tips and comments would be greatly appreciated.

I like 1 and 3. I think you did a good job for first time. I would maybe like to see a cool shot of him standing in front of the white bricks.. maybe with the ball by his feet or one foot on the ball?? I dont know just throwing it out there!:)

You were making the subject face the sun. Poor subject...

They look a bit on the soft side. I'd try to get your subject in the shade. And maybe give a little color pop to make them stand out a bit. Great first practice shoot. Keep it up!

Thank you!! Overall I was happy with them. There are somethings I would have done differently.

Thanks for the idea. I did do a couple of him standing with the ball by his feet when he was at the grey wall. Just didn't post them. I didn't do any by the white wall buy I should have.

Yes, He was facing the sun. It was a bit overcasted but the sun was still powerful. Unfortunately the building where we did the photoshoot has only the front of the building available the sides and the back are all fenced off.

Thank you I had a great time doing the photoshoot. I didn't sharpen for the web so that is probably why they are a bit soft. Any tips on how to make the colors pop a bit more?
