You got it ! Clamshell never fails....I've been experimenting if you add 1 light each side you get really interesting stuff......

i just got a beauty dish so im experimenting as well. this is my first shot with it, i used a soft box for some fill...thinking im really going to diggin this beauty dish. actually going to try this on some babies. this is straight off the camera,,have not done any pp on it. we just designed the christmas set behind it so we were adjusting lights.ill take all the hints i can get with the beauty dish,,already figured out 2-3 ft from subject..the thing is so trick..im thinking clam shell as well, beauty dish at the top and a brolly at the bottom

Thanks!

How does that work? do you make any money on that? I wish i had a little studio or something.. Now, it kind of a hassle to setup for a fruit and food shots..

edit: hopefully i will get to know this camera this winter.. :) It took me some time to "complete" this camera..

Ingardj, very nice setup! Looks like it's in awesome shape, too.

Here are a couple quick shots of my newest toy! It was kind of an early graduation gift from my father, and my first revolver. Smith and Wesson model 57. Anybody else have 5D shots of their guns?

You're from Utah, so the joke's on you. Haha.

People collect guns...same as anything else. Value holds better than camera gear from my experience.
