Hey all,

We've had a cold streak here in the Pacific Northwest. When that happens, my thoughts go to the Columbia River Gorge, where there are waterfalls that can ice over. So, Wednesday, I loaded my gear and headed out for several stops. I ended up at Multnomah Falls in Oregon at the end of the day where I took a bunch of shots from various views with various lenses. Note that by 4:00 in the afternoon the sun was low, and behind the surrounding hills and cliffs so the difficult lighting meant a lot of Lightroom love to bring out some color, brightness and contrast while retaining detail in the ice.
