It could just be me...but the subjective coloring just doesn't work here...of course I can't think of a reason to ever use it...so it could just be me.

Mike, the man's ring still looks a little copper. The woman's seems a little washed out now. Have you heard the term "Tar Baby"? :)

Nice shots, Mike!

Back in August '08 we had a POTN meetup in the Columbia River Gorge. One of our stops before beer was Kahleena Falls, not far from Multnomah Falls. I got a nice shot (except from some grass being blown by an errant breeze) and this week on my way to Multnomah Falls I decided to stop there and try to duplicate the shot in the context of the frozen waters. I did it, but the ice wasn't so noticeable!

Taken with the 5D and the 24-105:

And a crop, showing there really was ice in the creek:):

Jay, rotate it a bit so the spokes line up with the corners. I like the DOF and the PP. Looks like a SMWYG entry to me. :)

Sorry Geno, didn't see you sandwiched in there...

Good call on the spokes. Not eligible for SMWYG .. shot too far back in time. :(

As was this one: "Gotta Roll"

Well, thanks for the compliment! It's an awesome place any time of year, my only problem was balancing the dim light and bright "stuff" -- glad I could pull something off that pleases!
