Just want to stop by and say hello to everyone. I am currently swamped with work and haven't touched the 5d for month. Who said Hawaii is a place for vacation?

I was missing you! I sent a shout out a week or so ago... We've had 60 days of rain, I need to see Hawaii. :)

BTW, I hate all of you! :)

Everyone's getting a 135L. I want something now. Anybody care to offer advice? Should I sell my 50 1.4 and get a 1.2 or should I spring for a 135 and join the club?

It is an excellent series, isn't it. Don't care if she's eating soup with a fork!

Can we still post smooshy 85L shots in the 5D/135L thread?

Nice shot Geno. In fact, I love that whole series.

The 135L does smooshy, too. :p

For that matter, so does the Sigmalux:

All this 135L talk has me thinking.

If you have a 50, an 85, a 100 macro and a 70-200, would you use a 135?

I have the 24L, Sigma 50, 85L, 135L and 200 f/2.8L and use all pretty regularly. I usually use the 200 outdoors since the MFD is a bit long in my house while the 135 is doable indoors.

I have a 50, 85 and 135, but no 100 to compare. I'd say, since the 100 is 2.8 and the 135 is f/2, you'd probably get good use out of it. Mine pretty much stays wide open, and I can always count on it to be sharp.
