Funny how they crap out some of the images but not all of them all the time...

I donno what the deal is :lol: I've even gone to the part of over-sharpening after downsizing and still sometimes images have an overall softness to them when posted from photobucket and you're right its not consistent. As long as what goes to the client looks good. Images put into photobucket and images resized and put on the net is usually not a good gauge for IQ.

Haiko...those are lovely shots. but, on the one with the girl in her glasses.....might want to clone out the drop of snot from her nose.

thank you tiff. i dont dare cloning anything for now as i generally do not photoshop my images. sure that i do processisng within the raw file conversion but nothing more than WB, slight exposure adjustments, colors and contrast.
I definitely need to learn more about post processing. croping, cloning, etc. etc. thanks for the input.

you may be right but i dont know how to do that without changing the exposure. i tried to set the exposure right to make it high key. then the edge of the cap "disappeared". pulling back the high lights did not bring back the detail....

If you shot raw you can might be able bring it back so theres just a touch of detail then using a quick mask hold that detail and bring the rest of the image back to where you want it, still keeping slight detail in the cap.

Okay, you do realize that you're supposed to be rubbing her feet instead of taking pictures of the dog, right?
