Yeah it might have better AF and 45 AF points but the saturation, colors, IQ, and noise is 100% better in the 5d. http://www.flickr.com/photos/elijaheos/

Thats kind of where Im at..I love the 1d for the focus..but I kind of miss my 30d..and kind of want to try the 40d... I hate cameras 7d|tamron 17-50mm f2.8
