Do whatever you're passionate about and don't let anyone put you down. :)

My parents don't know this, but I'd secretly love to make a career out of photography. The math Honours year I undertook last year was the most stressful ten months of my life. Sleeping in the office was a regular occurrence and I almost forgot what it was like to shower. Social life = no existent. In the end I got into a Ph.D, but now I'm not sure if I wanna do it. Academic life in science is too damn stressful. Unfortunately though, I've got somewhat pushy parents so I don't have an independent choice in the matter. On the other hand, if you're free to choose your career path, I envy you!

We are all free to make a choice And in the End your parents will still Love you it just might take them a while to get over it.
Life is not a dress rehersal you are only here once so might as well enjoy it. :)
But then you got to have a job to put food on the table and a roof over your head.

I teach Spanish. I don't love my job. I feel bad about it because I know I'm not the best teacher. My photography business is just starting to take off. My family keeps joking about me quitting teaching. Hubby says no....I carry the insurance and get good retirement. So, since I only teach 3/4 time anyway, I'm going to keep plugging on.

One more from today's Ghost Town outing .. a little five-layer manual exposure blend.
(I think I can do a little more with it but IMO, it didn't turn out too bad)

QUOTED IMAGE
(IMO, it looks much better bigger and over black on the website)

Jay I love this image. I find I just keep searching the room like I am looking for something. I agree its a bit dark on my monitir but I am at work (Shh!) so my monitor is not calibrated.
One thing is it my eye or is it tilted just a bit to the right ? Still Love it.

when i said SUPER cheap I meant SUPER cheap. ha ha

Long story short tho, she got bored and found someone else behind my back. But it's cool cause I found a great girl and she is pregnant with my first kid, a boy. And she has a daughter that is 4 that loves going on photoshoots with me.
