Yikes. http://www.adorama.com ….html?searchinfo=canon+5D Glad I bought mine when it was cheapola ![]() I've got to say, this is the first time I have witnessed a used DSLR actually go up in price as it gets older. The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Ballen Photo wrote in post #9522467 I've got to say, this is the first time I have witnessed a used DSLR actually go up in price as it gets older. So true. Used prices when I was shopping a year ago hovered around $1000-1100 (lightly used), now $1100 is considered a killer deal. Refurbs were $1399 when I bought, now they're $1699...a year later. That's remarkable for any piece of electronic technology.

I paid $1399 for mine one year ago, and at the time it had dropped from $1499...now they're $1699! I never knew them to be $1299 (for a $400 increase); is that what you paid?
