Cool; I played with the original to see how my workflow would make it look. Interesting!

Tiff, what f/stop do you shoot at? I'm asking because the hair on her forehead is out of focus but the hair that's back in the plain of her eyes is in focus. It just looks a little funny. I'm wondering if you could shoot stopped down and still achieve the same look you have in your editing so you get more detail in the skin and hair. I think the tip of her nose is out of focus too.

Yes, sometimes I am. I've been feeling like crap the last 4 or 5 days so I was slightly distracted, or at least that's my excuse ;)

I thought the same thing about his post... first post was a quote of your image! lol

That one is 1.8. You should know that by how much she talks the 85mm up!

I think it was 1.8...we were running into some failing light.

And....?

I decided that having well focused/exposed images to start with makes things a lot easier :D

I can post it..I didn't because you don't have Image Editing approval turned on. Similar in so much in that I fixed the few flaws she has, but overall, I would say yours is a bit "smoother". I just prefer as little processing as possible.

You need a wide prime as well. :)

Ask yourself what do you like to shoot.
