And bring a hammer to help build a studio, right? :)

Hey, if you're so-inclined! The problem is, it's cold all winter when my business is slow, and when the weather's nice enough to get up there and get started, my business picks up and I have no time to do it.

Brett you're building a studio?! Sweet!

I have space. A very nice, loft-type space that would make a great studio. It's got an off-street entrance that's separate from my shop, it's got high ceilings, there's offices set up. If you ever want to come check it out, I'm more than willing to have help. I don't really have anyone local willing to work with me on it, and doing it myself isn't that appealing. :p

I've posted these before, but to give you an idea what it looks like:

MCP Actions free high def sharpening....mask off the skin
MCP actions eye dr action (just the sharpening step and just on the eyes)
flatten
remove blemishes on a duplicate layer using patch and/or healing brush tool
flatten
patch undereyes on a duplicate layer
reduce opacity to taste
sometimes they look a little dark so I use the eye dropper tool to pick a color close to the skin tone and paint that on a new blank layer....add noise for some texture..and reduce opacity until it looks pleasing
flatten
run portraiture on the default (lightest) setting
mask off everything but the skin
adjust opacity to taste
then, some kind of color pop if I feel like it. I use some MCP actions for that but mostly on this maternity set I used the phaunt actions color workflow: beastly color and technicolor booster

Yeah, I think it would clean up real nice, but it'd take a fair amount of work to get it up to standard.

Yeah but hey thats half the fun! I am going to be renting-to-own my girlfriends grandmothers house starting June, I'd like to put a small "office" in the 3rd bedroom, then at my dad's "office" the front room would make a nice small studio room, I'm not sure about the whole props idea though.

Coming back to the office on the way back from lunch I came across this.

Of course, this was the day I only bring one lens.
