Some folks in NYC wear complete silver body paint and silver suits. Stuff like that guy gets completely overlooked.

BTW, I've been using labs for all of my printing, but finally gave in and bought a photo printer just for proofs. What do you guys and gals use for paper? I bought a box of Kodak Pro, and am not overly happy with the blacks.

Check with The Hoff. I think he uses Hannebleu or something like that.

I have couple of neg comments Alejendro. Sorry..I usually love your stuff.

First, the main light is to high for her head tilt (the shadow from her brow line cutting halfway across her pupils). The really hot spot on her forehead and her hair near the top of the frame I find a bit distractive and the eyes cutting the frame in half at the 50% horizon line. A crop just slightly above the eyebrows does help.I would also tone down the skin on her shoulders a bit.

I have to respectfully disagree. I think hes breaking some rules here on purpose. i love this and i think the darkness in the eye area and the light add to the dynamics of this shot. I think it gives her a real mysterious and mischievious look. Alejandro, simply stunning work. one of these days im going to be able to light like you.

mmmmmm Yes and no..lol

The original Image the eyeshadow area was lighter....Why I made it darker?

I've followed the basic rules of Make Up according to the master Kevin Aucoin...
her nose shape wasn't the greatest therefore I applied some "digital make up" to contour it
Plus her eye shadow area looks is "funny" small and "chubby" so i went for the "smoky" look
that way you can cover that "flaw"

If you notice ..she has a dominant eye (as everyone) and I did the same with "digital make up"
I attempted to correct it. Same goes to the "hot spot" in the forehead I followed the contouring
rules of make up "T zone"

Can you tell I'm taking make up lessons hahahahahahahahaha

Thats cool bro. I guess the hot spot on the forehead and the hair are my boggest negs. I have no problem with breaking rules. Just take a piece of paper and cover her head to just a bit over the eyebrows. I think that alone makes the image much stronger otherwise my eye gets stuck in the hair and the hotspot.
