Is it just me or is that face a bit soft? Seems like the focus is a hair front focused. Her chest and right elbow are very sharp but her face is a tad soft.

Really? I can still see both of them. Here's the one I liked the best.

Oh no need to tell me, I've been trying to do it since I got my 85l! The results are great but if I breathe too hard I lose focus

You do know it's still sweet at f/2.0?

But who pay's that much for a lens to use it at f/2 when it's much cheaper counterpart is fully functional at f/2? :p All kidding aside, I've been told it's sweet spot is stopped down to around f/2 but I haven't tried it too much for myself. Still shooting almost everything at f/1.2 and f/1.4. Once that whole shallow DoF kick is over, I'll be sure to give it a few shots at f/2.

If you get used to shooting it at around f2.0 you will find it much easier to shoot at 1.2 later. Keeper rate will be much higher.

Really? Well I may have to take you up on that... I'll keep that in mind next time I'm out shooting with it.

Very nice. I don't care for fact that she's wearing hose though.

Here's a couple shots to demonstrate that it's a capable lens at any aperture and to not be afraid of losing bokeh because you've stopped it down a bit.

f/1.8

I don't think the hose would be that big of a deal except I can see a very distinct line on her upper leg that I find a little distracting. Other than that another great shot Alejandro!!!
