very nice. now if you don't mind me asking
did you take this with the:

a) long pole stuck onto car then later ps'ed off method
b) second car method
c) none of the above

only asking because I plan on doing a photo shoot for a friend and he wants a shot similar to this.

Hi all! It's good to be back, but we had a wonderful vacation in USA. We were away for a month and I took ~1800 photos. After the first "weeding" there are 800 left, and I'm currently busy choosing which ones to process. :) Maybe I'll post some here later today.

You have all posted some awesome photos! Many left me speechless. I wish I could comment on them, but I was 90 pages behind and I need to catch up with my business emails too.

Hello, all,

Took a nice jaunt earlier today to the Jean Lafitte National Park, located just outside New Orleans, in Marrero, Louisiana. The park is a swamp and wildlife preserve. What makes it so neat is the miles of sturdy low board walks that traverse the park. You are able to view and photograph from eye level, not looking down from an elevated ramp. It was hot today (90 degrees) and there was a lot of overgrowth, so, no alligators were sighted. There is an abundance of the golden orb-weaver spider, also called banana spider. I took a shot that pretty well showed the beautiful web they weave. The sunlight was not so good for illustrating the spider, however, but, another had constructed a web between two tall trees that allowed for a better image of the spider. There are many beautiful tropical plants to be seen. Spring is a better time for seeing them in all their charm.
The lens used was the Canon EF 28-135 IS.

Joe

Love this!

A shot of today's sunset. Sky was very nice. Manual blending of three exposures.

I hate you. Love the shot though!

That's a coincidence... I just bought my goodies from Adorama yesterday, and spent $95 on 20 ft of aluminum RMC today. Shipment should be here tomorrow, and I'll have everything to get it going!

For those two shots, what is the FL and how long is the conduit? I'm going to be using a 24mm Zuiko, and I can hang the magic arm anywhere I'd like with 20ft.

FL is 16mm, 1/10 sec exposure doing like 7-8mph

More rig testing:

Gonna shoot an MX5 (Mazda Miata to you yankies) and a Toyota Supra soon... possible a Porsche Panamera in the fall as well. For now, I'm just testing my rig with my old diesel estate :)

Found an old childrens ward under heavy remodelling yesterday:

This camera is great. 1600 is just unreal compared to my 50d.

Here's a pic and a resulting 100% crop. Absolutely amazing detail at iso 1600. Unedited, straight from raw to jpeg.

Hi guys, I finally received my "new" used 5D yesterday... oh what a JOY! :)
Dust on the viewfinder bothers be just a little ... but when I saw the photos, it's like - oh I can't explain. ;)

Anyway, here's one of the first few photos I took - straight JPEG since I am so excited to post.
