Well, went to Silverstone today, having never tried motorsport photography, and not really going out to get amazing shots but thought it might be worth a try. And WOW was it hard! I never realised how difficult panning shots were and how slow my zoom is to focus even on servo.

So in the end one OK picture that I like out of 50 or so and a few marshals. Comments always welcome.

Nice shots mate, it is so much harder than it looks eh.

For the British Motogp I must of taken 700-800 shots and out of that I think I got about 90 that I was pleased with.

Like the brace of Porsches - it really is more difficult than it looks but great fun practicing!

Thanks everyone, I thought it might be challenging but nothing compared to how it really was! I'd love to plan a proper visit again specifically for photo's to see what happens!
