My new laptop has a firewire 400 input. How much faster would downloads be vs a USB 2.0 card reader? Any recomendations? Thanks

I finally googled firewire vs usb 2 and due to the way firewire comunicates with the pc vs usb 2, the firewire can be as much as 70% faster. Am now looking for a firewire card reader, shoot large raw and want to speed up the downloads.
