Lake Success New York:

The release of the 7D has been hampered with problems.
In addition to many units displaying back focus with all lenses due to quality control issues, it seems that a design problem in the "hyper burst" AF Engine is flawed, resulting in the 7D choosing to always focus on a subjects feet.

You heard it here first!

Eureka!!! The first official post detailing the shortcomings of the 7D. Now that's why I love POTN. I know I can always read it here first. :) Well there go my upgrade plans. ;)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I'll just go and figure out where I placed that green kryptonite, then I'll scare that puny excuse for a moderator away from here! :p:cool:

By the way, don't complain about the buttons. There's a direct print button. Had you not been that mean about the AF performance, I would have assured you the the new programmable key can act as MLU button, but now I'll insist on the opposite!

Waiting for this to become a CR1 or at the very least get picked up by an Italian website.

Looks like canon is just trying to throw out another one of those cameras with improved features.... christ when will they come out with something decent.

As long as they keep the direct print button... would be lost without it.

If you must know...

Wow amazing. I heard the exact same thing in the local photo shop today. And I even think we have users with a pre-production model as members here. Check this thread.

That tears it...I'm taking up painting.

Of course my brushes won't quite reach the canvas fully and I'll probably use too much thinner which will keep my brush strokes from being sharp.

:lol::lol::lol:
