I've heard it from somewhere that if you watch a video, you remember the video. If you see a photo, you remember the memory.
I'm the family archiver and I'm getting both videos digitized and doing all the slides and prints. Of the two, it's the stils that evoke a memory for me. Watching the videos is interesting and enjoyable, but I find myself watching and not thinking and remembering.

she looks good! Next two weeks of light duty (no playing) but not stuck in the crate all the time. Then two weeks of easing her into playing. So she's on the "best" side of the odds they gave us when she had surgery. I'll find out more when he gets home.
THat is really great news.

There's something else involved, then. One of my many favorite framed photos on my living room walls was shot with my Ricoh RDC-4200 in 2000. At 1024x768, it was less than a 1mp camera, but that one photo is still a favorite of mine, and it looks great in it's 8x10 frame. I don't see any pixellation at all in it.
THe two pics I have are not that pixelated, but they are low quality. But it reminds my of a fantastic day spent hiking with my daughter and every time I see it I remember that day.
