oooh just got word on Hale! good news

Permagrin wrote in post #8621542 (external link)
she looks good! Next two weeks of light duty (no playing) but not stuck in the crate all the time. Then two weeks of easing her into playing. So she's on the "best" side of the odds they gave us when she had surgery. I'll find out more when he gets home.

Great News...even greater, you survived too.:D:D:D

... flash failing to fire (say that three times fast...),...

I've heard it from somewhere that if you watch a video, you remember the video. If you see a photo, you remember the memory.

I'm the family archiver and I'm getting both videos digitized and doing all the slides and prints. Of the two, it's the stils that evoke a memory for me. Watching the videos is interesting and enjoyable, but I find myself watching and not thinking and remembering.

THat is really great news.

There's something else involved, then. One of my many favorite framed photos on my living room walls was shot with my Ricoh RDC-4200 in 2000. At 1024x768, it was less than a 1mp camera, but that one photo is still a favorite of mine, and it looks great in it's 8x10 frame. I don't see any pixellation at all in it.

THe two pics I have are not that pixelated, but they are low quality. But it reminds my of a fantastic day spent hiking with my daughter and every time I see it I remember that day.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

OK, Hale update:

SHE'S FINE!

Now that the important stuff is out of the way...

She's still on crate rest, essentially, not as strict, but still to keep a low profile for another two weeks. Then, after that two weeks is gone, we can start doing short leashed walks with her for another fortnight. After THAT, she can be a puppy again. :D

Hale, rock on!!!

G'night Deb :D

Man, the only thing that I put off more then processing photos is doing my taxes. Another short while, and I should have my 2008 taxes ready to submit.

So far she loves it, her anxiety levels have dropped dramatically.
