I guess I just read a LOT about the fact that the material seems very outdated and it's hard to get some good feedback from the instructors.

But if anyone here is reading this and has taken the NYIP course, PLEASE message me. I would LOVE to hear your thoughts.

Pleaseeee!

Amanda - I just received their NYIP's info packet in the mail and have been looking it over. So far I'm rather undecided as well, so I need to go hunt up some old POTN threads. Have you found any good ones?

Speaking of anniversaries, being it is past midnight here on the east coast, it is Leyla and mines 17th year of marriage and 26th year as best friends.

Happy Anniversary Zane!

It's nice sharing the same date with you - 12 years for us today!

From an email today.

Quote of the day:

'Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of $hit.'

Man, is this ever true, especially the last part.

Loved it.... and used it for a while as my FB status!!!! hehehehehe

G'mae folks.

It's a sad one here.

It's school fair weekend...which is like homecoming except we also have a mini county fair.

But, last night there was a terrible house fire. The house was destroyed and a little boy about 8 years old was killed as well as an older gentleman...not sure if it was his dad.

Corey was on the call. He's fine mentally but is worried about some of the younger firemen who have never had to deal with this before.

It really puts a shadow on this weekend.:(

That's awful....

Lucky pirate.....all those cutlass battles, and he still has all his appendages, and both eyes.

He needs a peg leg, and an eye patch.

Arrrrrrr

Yeah, you're probably right....

Thanks everyone for the thoughts this way. Corey is doing ok with it. some of the other guys aren't doing as well. Apparently it was a little girl and her dad. One of the guys on the fire department is also a janitor at the school and sees the girl every day...and saw her just yesterday with her dad. He was one of the ones that helped carry the bodies out. He's pretty upset. And, I guess one of the other guys...one of the younger ones....tripped as he was helping carry the little girl out and really messed up his elbow trying not to drop her. Some of them are meeting with the state fire inspector in a few minutes. They also only ran the lights on the trucks in the parade instead of also using the sirens...out of respect for the situation. It's just a yucky situation all around.

They don't look like the Basset Hounds I'm familiar with... The ears are too short. It looks like they could have some Beagle in them. Love the one with the goat...

It is a cross bred pack. With what I don't no and the really hairy one I have no idea what it is.

I don't think I've ever iced my spine. That doesn't sound too comfortable.
