It used to be that so many in the crowd dressed up and carried swords and stuff. At some point they started banning swords and knives. At that point it was sort of silly to wear armor so it seems a lot less people participated. I have not been in probably 4 years. You hung around with the tame crowd then . . . Stayed for the Pub Sing? Pyrates or Rogues? Plenty of Rennies in garb - only a couple in armour, which isn't all that period anyhow. Most of the Rennies and RFJs hang in the pubs. Jon
