Chief, my mom loves that joke. I've heard it told many times since I was a wee one.

I have a good friend here who also loves it. He tells it to me just about every couple months. I guess he figures it bears repeating. It really is cute, though.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Dan: Looking forward to the next story arc... Are you eventually going to go back and complete Gear Wars and LOTRR?

Hopefully, before I die....

Tiff I'm afraid we have a all day sucker here :) more work than humanly possible

Well fooey. That is sucky.

I need to do some cleaning in my house tonight....proofing session tomorrow and my house is a disaster.

Who would have thought remodeling would be so messy and inconvenient?

G'morning.

I'm feeling all pro today.
Not really...though my gear is "pro". And I have an actual shoot later. (I'm being facetious...just in case anyone misses it) But I feel as out of my depth as possible.
Plus I woke up at 5:45. On a day where I could sleep in because Dan didn't have to work...how ironic.

Leyla said to post her wildflowers. I know, use a plain back drop, seperate the subject, blah blah, I snapped them on top of the TV. Ignore the stuff in the Back.

*ignoring stuff* lovely fleurs!

Good luck on your shoot permie.

Why are you nervous?

thanks. I'm not nervous. Just tired.

Truth be known, I kept thinking "after these weddings I'll have the fall and winter to recuperate, take care of the dog and figure out what I'm going to do". But I came back to the opportunity of 3 shoots and now suddenly maybe a 4th in the midst of them.

I feel like I'm out of my depth. I know I can do the shoots but I want each one to be so special for the person I'm shooting. I want them to not only have their photos but remember the event as something really cool (or special or whatever). Maybe I put too much of me into it but I can't help myself.

I'm having some minor trouble with my epilepsy again. It's just the stresses of life but it's hard on my health. But I need to work. It's a fact of life anymore.

Sometimes I think a 9-5 job would be less stressful because you get to leave your work at work. At least most people do. For me, if I'm not working, I'm spending my time on templates or websites or learning techniques (along with taking care of an injured dog, a crazy dog and trying to keep my life together). I don't know when to stop...so my days are long and it always feels like spinning wheels.

So it's not that I'm nervous...just stretched very thin. And feeling it.

(((((((((((((((permie)))))))))))))))

Nothing really to say to that....I feel your pain....without the health issues.

Honestly, do the best you can.....don't put SO much into it that it burns you out on the seniors....they're fickle at best and you'll get your feelings hurt no doubt. JMHO from dealing with kids all the time.

Do you have a camera?

yes. But I prefer to sketch the client. My shots tend to come out sharper that way.
