Took a stroll through the Rolling Hills zoo just west of Salina, Ks on Saturday... most everything is behind steel mesh cages, so it wasn't easy getting an unobstructed shot... the bars are visible on the leopard, tiger, and lion shots. Here's the best of my shots for the day... any C&C welcome and appreciated.

A suggestion: when at the zoo look to the gardens to offer you some background, so through some pp work you can replace the fencing with greenery instead. Once you have the shots you like look for some bushes keeping in mind similar lighting, shadows, distance or scale, and photo angle. It takes some time and talent, but the end result can make the shot much more natural. Oh, and never mind those folk snickering at you taking photos of leaves or grass while there are all those animals around.

I've been to Rolling Hills and have a similar picture of the giraffes. :-) They must like swinging their heads around. You did get some really good shots. Thanks for sharing!
