Maybe if I actually got out and USED this lens rather than spend all my time looking online for how everyone else is doing with theirs, I might actually learn something.

So true... I hear ya!

If you must know...

Meh..so i paid a little more to have it a while ;)

I'm not bugged by it, i knew it would happen...

The same thing happened with my 100-400, I bought my used copy for $1280 and the next month new copies went down to $1300 for a while, But I never regretted it :3

Dear Members,

Can anybody please post what this lens can do with tests like subject isolation and bokeh(will f3.5-5.6 be a limitation here?). I think KenjiS (apologies if not) has promised that he would do some tests on those issues. It would be interesting to see if anybody has some samples.

Many thanks in advance

need this baby (in UK it's £649, shhh...... don't tell the wife).

They're unfortunately out of stock at the moment, but RGB Photo are listing the lens at £480:
http://www.rgb-photo.co.uk …-is-digital-slr-lens-p140 (external link)
They're split from 7D kits (so no box/manual) but brand new, fully warranted lenses. RGB Photo is a reputable company too.
