She was a bit camera shy at first, but we got a few good pictures in.

I really like them. 2 and 3, are a little dark. 4 is perfect.

+1

on #1, I would clone out the sign just to the right of her right forearm and the sign (realtor) just to the photo right of the bottom of the Texaco sign. (my attempt below)

#2 i like the comp. The globes on top of the pumps are lit and her face is dark. It detracts from her face. Should be able to PP her out of the shadow.(my attempt below)

I do like this set. I notice that you have the Dallas skyline as your avi... Mind if I ask where this Texaco is? (I live in Richardson)

I only cloned out the 2 signs and the power pole/wires.

I duplicated the image, changed mode to screen (100% opacity), masked out the pumps, duplicated the new layer and set to 50% opacity.

Thanks for the advice. I really like the look of the pump shot with her a bit brighter, everything else the same.

I also just need to watch out for the details when post processing (such as signs and power wires and whatnot).

I am from Dallas, but this station is in Round Rock (just north of Austin).

A beautiful model. I would have tried to get a bit of a smile from her. What did you use to get the B/W?

You will benefit, in the future, by using some fill light on your subject. These shots are a bit confusing in that we can't tell if your subject is gas pumps or the girl. #2 is particularly noteworthy in this regard. 4 is your best but could have used more fill on the dark side.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll definitely concentrate on fill light and keeping the image bright enough. I have a tendency to produce dark images, not really sure why.
