I have one of those and it won't fit my 1DsMkII for some reason :)

Although my 100-400 will fit the XL-2 witht he adapter.

For really wide I have my 3x wide angle lens for the XL-2 as well. It seems to be about the same as a 24-70 would on my 1DsMkII.

The XL-2 is a 12x crop sensor so 4.2mm = 50.4mm

Ah, but it would fit, somehow, I guess, but it might be 'slightly soft' in the corners. :D


5D and holy trinity of primes. Now the 90mm TS-E TS-E fly bit me. I hate these forums.

Actually it would be black in the corners (and most of the frame), the XL lens mount opening is considerably smaller then the EF mount opening.
