Nice pictures. And in the spirit of being helpful, not my normal trait, tried the link, and not working for me either. I get the start of the smugmug page, but it seems to be hanging while downloading one of the button gifs.

Great shots.
I have a question: I see quite a few shots like #5 - an aircraft going through the sonic boom. These are truly incredible photographs. How is this done? I am mostly referring to the timing. Is this moment predictable? Or are you shooting the spray and pray method? At air shows, is it announced over the speaker that an opportunity like this is approaching?

They'll often announce it as a "High Speed" pass...

It's not a "Sonic Boom" but you are seeing the low pressure areas around the aircraft where the air is condensing as it approaches very high sub-sonic flight. Usually works best in higher relative humidity conditions. We rarely if ever see it out here in the desert. We hardly even get wingtip vortices... :(

The FAA does not allow aircraft to go beyond Mach 1 at airshows (except maybe at Edwards?)

This.

If I understand it correctly, the low pressure area around the A/C actually pulls the water from the air do to the sudden acceleration of the air over the wing and around the A/C.

If this a/c were going super-sonic, the BOOM! would be awesome. It in not legal for an aircraft to go super-sonic over the US. Even the military does not do it except in certain areas. I haven't heard a sonic boom since the late '70's or early '80's.
