Please Mr.Canon - BRING BACK THE PONG!

Ah that makes sense - so its time to just mash the buttons and hope I guess.

Or maybe that is the true use of the Direct Print button? It has to have some real use doesn't it?

Unlock Space Invaders on the Canon EOS 50D:

Step 1
- Start with the camera turned OFF. Make sure no lenses are attached. Battery grip or flash makes no difference.
- Set the Mode Dial to Green Box (Full Auto).

Step 2
- Turn the camera ON. If you have Sensor Auto Cleaning enabled, let it do its thing.
- Make sure the switch is in the third position to allow use of the Rear Dial.

Step 3
- Do the following sequence. Ignore what comes up on screen while you do this.
- F, A, F, D, M, M, RD-L, SW-L, P, I, I, I, P, F, S, D, RD-R, SW-R, A, F, M, M
- This unlocks the game.

Step 4
- With the camera still on, switch the Mode Dial to M (Manual).
- Do the following sequence. Ignore what comes up on screen while you do this.
- M, SW-R, SW-R, SW-R, SW-L, RD-R, SW-L, RD-R, SW-L, M, M, RD-R, SW-L, RD-R, SW-L, RD-R, RD-L, RD-L, RD-L, M
- Next, press the SET button ONCE.
- This adds a new menu item to access the game.

Step 5
- Turn the camera OFF.
- Switch the Mode Dial back to Green Box.
- Turn the camera ON.
- A new 'Games' menu page will appear as a purple icon between Custom Functions and My Menu. (Notice that the menu says 'Games' in plural, so there may be other unlockable games.)
- After this, the Games menu will appear only when the Mode Dial is set to Green Box prior to turning the camera on. It will remain visible if you switch to another mode while the camera is still on.
- Select Space Invaders underneath it and enjoy!

I'm picking up my Xti bundle pack after work. It's supposed to have L series paddles included for 2 player. Any one know if its true?

Anyone checked the menus on the 60D to see if Canon were listening?

Considering purchasing a 5D3, but wanted to see if they added Pong back to the menu.

It worked! Thanks! Gonna sell the lenses so I don't get distracted playing
