That looks too much like a 40D. The new 8D will look more like this:

So, then, does it mean the 8D will have a Teleport function? :)

(Or should I say, "Beam" function?)

Rumor has it, that the 8D will have all of the original Trek episodes preloaded on it...

I'm holding out for that.

Dammit Jim! I'm a doctor, not a photographer.

I hear the 5DII people are putting together a petition to get the 5DII to get the same PONG Features that the 7D will have...

Wait a mo - if they are incorporating it into the 7D, what about making it backwardly compatable with the 50D - i mean why should we lose out on PONG???? :p

I believe the rumored 8D will also have the new 'Spock' logic processor in it. If the shot you are about to take is illogical, it will notify you with an audiable voice. ;)

Wait a minute... everyone complained when Canon put HD video recording on their DSLRs but now you want video games, internet access, and TV re-runs?

Umm, depends what TV re-runs I can get and how fast the internet access will be. I'm not much of a gamer.

However, the 7D PONG will be single-player only. The 8D will feature multiplayer PONG action, up to four players, via WiFi connection! I demand Canon updates the 7D's firmware to allow WiFi multiplayer PONG!

That must be the 60D - the buttons arent right for the 7D/8D range!:p

Na that is the 8D, didn't you here "all" the owners hated the button layout of the 7D so the reverted the design. I don't know why they moan though it feels great in my hand...

Besides the pre-loaded Trek episodes, it's got Lasik too!
