Ugh... I was getting excited my kit order might ship today only to find out Adorama still hasn't received a single kit yet. I wonder what the hold up is.

Canon is finally out of stock of 28-135 IS? That would be great news!

Why oh why didn't I order the body only from Adorama when bing CB was 11%? Why? Why? Why?

By the time Circuit City gets the kits the 7D Mark II will be out. 25 megapixels, eye control focus point selection, voice commands. Hopefully I still get the cashback.

And there is the e-mail from Adorama with the tracking number....

I broke down an preordered from Amazon and Adorama on October 3. Amazon is now telling me it will ship November 2 - 6, and upgraded my shipping to 1 Day shipping. Time to cancel my Adorama order (sorry Helen).

helen, does adorama go to auto cancel an order after a certain time? do we need to call to check in to make sure it stays in the system every week or so often?

That is fantastic news that people who ordered after me have got shipping notifications. I ordered the 20th and haven't gotten anything. But I just checked my bank account and there's a hold for $1699 in my account. I can only assume the best. good thing Best Buy was out of stock when I called yesterday! YAY!

i don't know if they got notifications or that they called in and "manually" checked with a rep. either way, good news for you.

I've been watching this thread since there was only 6 pages. Now today I have my tracking # (Ordered Adorama on the 12th)! It is a grand day indeed! (I am so glad I upgraded to 2 day shipping)

although i don't think that matters, as people that ordered on the 28th are getting them shipped at the same time. not sure what the cost differential is, and where you live, but you may get it in 1 less day than others. hooray.
