Aaaaawesome! I read through your blog post on it (ok... I didn't quite read all the way to the end) and I feel like blocking the flash completely from the backdrop would have saved you the cutting-out process and given you the same perfect black behind them?

I'll try and do some blocking next time, there's so many things to remember to do, I always forget something:o
In this instance I have a light in the front left of frame lighting the subjects, which is contaminating my background, and not enough distance between them and the background to let the light fall off.
I definitely need to do some blocking action on the second light, to improve the process.
