I already have a 5DII. The new 7D seems like it would be a nice complement. Thoughts?

I generally prefer the smaller bodies, and the 7d has most of the features I appreciate in my 1d-III. I have a 5d-II as well, and most of the time its the camera I grab, so the 7d would be the highspeed backup, and second body. John Caputo

Canon has had several recent releases that on paper would compete with the 1d-III, including the 40d. This one may be for real with dual processors, but does it have a separate AF processor? according to the mountains of tech data it does have a dedicated af sensor which is tied to exposure metering as well. incorporates color information to aid in af and metering.
